The Cure for Brrrr

By Wendy | January 16, 2009

There are many reasons to love living in VT. The summers are amazing, Lake Champlain is gorgeous, autumn in the Green Mountains is a sight to be seen, and of course, the snow is very pretty. But let’s face it…enduring subzero temps is not on anyone’s list of reasons why they love living here. And right now, as some Vermonters might say, “It’s freakin’ cold!” When I woke up this morning, the news was reporting a temperature of -18F. Is that possible? My car was literally crying when I started it up, but I remain thankful that it did indeed start. Temps like this tend to put car batteries into a deep sleep. But, thankfully, in the midst of freezing temps, slippery roads, and a winter chill that won’t let up, there is a cure for “brrrr.” Staying home in your pajamas, cuddled up on the couch with a cup of hot tea and your Vermont Teddy Bear. Check out the Comfy & Cozy pajamas our sister company – PajamaGram – has to offer. And if you’re in the market for a new Bear, we of course we can help with that too. (Don’t forget, Valentine’s Day is coming up, and nothing will warm your Valentine’s heart quite like a cuddly Vermont Teddy Bear. See great Valentine’s Day gifts at VermontTeddyBear.com, PajamaGram.com, and CalyxFlowers.com.)
