Obama “Bear-y” Happy to Be at DNC; McCain Still Waiting in VT

Just what is all the fuzz about? Our specially designed Obama Bears are stuffed with excitement to be attending the Democratic National Convention this week in Denver, Colorado. The Bears have been visiting the DNCC offices in Denver since earlier this summer, and are now among the crowds attending the convention at the Pepsi Center August 25th-28th, 2008. In related news, our specially designed McCain Bears are still in Vermont, hoping for a ticket to Minneapolis in September.
The Obama Bears made the flight out west to Colorado earlier this summer and arrived at the Democratic National Convention Committee offices in Denver on July 25th. They’ve spent the past several weeks doling out lots of big Bear hugs to legislators and other politicians, as well as entertaining the DNCC staff and visiting press.
“The Bears arrived in true Obama style,” said a representative from the Democratic National Convention Committee. “They had their sleeves rolled up and were ready to work hard.”
FUR sure a Bear you can believe in, each specially designed Obama Bear wears a white dress shirt with sleeves rolled up, black pants, and an Obama ‘08 campaign button.
“Although we’re extremely happy that our Obama Bears are having a great time in Denver, we want everyone to know that this in no way reflects the political views of Vermont Teddy Bear or anyone at the Company,” says our CBO (Chief Bear Officer), Liz Robert. “You could say though, that our McCain Bears are in a pretty blue state because they have not yet been invited to Minneapolis.”

Barack Obama is a good president. he is perhaps the most tech savvy president in the US.

Safe to say there isn’t another current US President who’s as tech savvy as the current US President. [;-)]
