Late Autumn Lawn Dancers
By Nate | October 29, 2007
Here’s another recent scarecrow display on our front lawn, courtesy of the imagination of facilities manager Gerry Blair. (Astute readers may notice that they’re modeling apparel from sister company PajamaGram.*)
Did Gerry realize when he joined the Bear Crew that he’d end up creating festive seasonal displays? I’ll have to ask him one of these days.
But why do the scarecrows dance? My current theories include:
- They’re celebrating optimism, Being Bear.
- They’re celebrating last night’s Red Sox win of the 2007 World Series.
- They’re just tryin’ to stay one step ahead of the frost out there.
What do you think?
