A Bear-y Halloween Display
By Michelle D | October 24, 2007
The folks at the Van De Weert farm in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, came up with a creative way to spread some Halloween spirit (get it, Halloween spirit?) and grab some attention. I noticed the display on my way home from working at Vermont Teddy Bear on October 23. In Vermont it is not uncommon to see hay, whether baled or rolled, in stacks in barnyards, however it is rare to see these stacks “bear” a resemblance to any one thing in particular. In this case, I wonder if the Van De Weert’s did this, or are the culprits some of our fuzzy friends who may have decided to take to the streets with their merry mischief.

So nice to see a bear that’s outstanding in its field.
