Be Bear is for everyone who believes that we are all connected under one big sky. At Vermont Teddy Bear, we believe that our purpose in coming to work every day is to do good and spread goodness in a way that spirals out from Vermont and continues to "pay it forward." We want to inspire people to make time to connect with one another, and we believe that even the smallest gesture has the potential for profound impact in the world. What do you think about the design of our Bear Blog? The layout, color scheme, images, etc. We want your ideas, so comment away. Feel free to suggest alternatives to the title “Bear Blog” too.

I’m likin’ the design! The one glaring omission is the submit button for the search tool. Andy Francke should be setting us up with a design shortly.

I really like it overall. I think I’d like Topics at the top rather than posts. And I think/hope we have more content so that most of the post listings aren’t taken up with picture or quotes.
I really think this will be the start of something…

Oh, I’m sure we do. I think we’ve just been fleshing out the blog to get into the habit and rhythm of frequent posting.

Taking a short break here but thought I would add that I like the design and will be checking this more often when I can.

Looks good so far.
Ideas for articles from folks might be a weekly bocce update, the “happenings” at Teddy Bear (ex. what’s happening in the retail, such as their children’s program that they run daily, and any funny stories associated), events at Teddy Bear (the Mozart festival - did anyone go? How was it?), the donut eating contest at the Simpson’s opening. How many donuts were consumed by the Teddy Bear team? Etc.
If this is a site that the public will potentially be looking at, we should show examples of our “Bear Soul.”

I think it’s a great idea. I like the idea of customers getting involved and hearing about their interest in our bears. I also like the Bocce update idea. Slinging more dirt on the bocce topic – always accepted!
